"Engrossed" won Christine $5,000 in cash as it was voted the most popular by the public during the Singapore Art Show 2007, jointly presented by The National Arts Council and National Heritage Board from 2 August to 2 September 2007. Some 20,000 visitors have gone to the Singapore Art Exhibition since it opened on Aug 3. "Engrossed" garnered 273 votes from museum visitors who said it was their favourite artwork in the exihibition out of a total of 537 votes cast.

Engrossed (Lot 156-Home Sweet Home) was successfully sold at an auction organized by Masterpiece on 1 March 2008.
